Illinois-native Sandy Hyun had always been drawn to her mother’s extensive jewelry collection, developing a keen interest in jewelry construction at the age of 12. Mainly self taught she started selling her pieces to boutiques during her time at the University of Iowa. After moving to New York City and traveling the world for a year she launched her jewelry collection using treasures she collected during her travels. Her line was picked up by Anna Sui, Henri Bendel and a number of established New York City institutions. Her pieces are interesting and out of the ordinary as she mixes fine Italian leather, rare vintage chains and crystals, semiprecious stones, and early 20th century German glass to form her unique brand and style. All materials are sourced and plated in the US and handmade in Brooklyn, NY.
