A new source of designer clothes and accessories is coming to the Back Bay just in time for the spring collections.
Crush Boutique, which has a had a shop on Beacon Hill’s Charles Street since 2007, is set to open a second location at 264 Newbury St. where its owners promise they will offer both familiar and new brands to shoppers.
“We love searching for fresh, new lines and then showcasing them in-store. Now we’ll do it twice over. It will also serve as a great opportunity to carry more designers in our ever-growing online store,†Laura Macris, co-owner of the boutique, said in a statement.
The new boutique, which focuses on casual and cocktail attire, will carry some clothing lines found in the Beacon Hill shop, including Alice + Olivia, Whitney Eve, Wink NYC, Shoshanna, Madison Marcus, Dolce Vita, Romygold and Rory Beca, but will offer different styles and items at each location.
The shop will also carry some new-to-Boston brands at its Newbury Street location, including Boulee, House of Harlow 1960 Handbags, Brandy Melville, and Sam & Lavi.
As for what shoppers can expect when the boutique opens, Macris offered a glimpse into the offerings for spring.
“Sherbert hues, pleats, 1920s trends, cropped tops and hyperbright florals will give our new store the fresh, flirty look that Crush is known for,†she said.
The new location, between Fairfield and Gloucester streets is set to host a grand opening on Valentine’s Day where shoppers will be treated to goodie bags, treats, and blowouts from new neighbor Emerge Spa and Salon.
